News: 2008 06/05/2008 - GIG/ALBUM AND OTHER NEWS - Our second album has been completed and it sounds great. No news on a release date or album title as yet but we do have a show planned for the 29th May 2008 in Clwb Ifor Bach, Cardiff where'll be playing a set of completely new material. Our good friend Robin Proper-Sheppard of Sophia has agreed to support us at this gig and will be performing an acoustic set. We're very excited about this and the flow of news from this site and our myspace will hopefully increase as this year progresses. Apologies to everyone for the slow news output but we've been busy doing the album. Also, you can check the latest side project to come out of Vito, Right Hand Left Hand is a 2 piece band featuring Andrew and Rhodri. Have a listen! 2007 12/06/2007 - 2ND ALBUM UPDATE AND GIG - It's been a long time since we had any real news to tell you but, like buses, 2 come along at the same time. Firstly, the 2nd album is written, the songs have been selected and we're due to start recording it as soon as possible. It's going to be fantastic and we're all very excited. Secondly, we are playing a one off show in Clwb Ifor Bach in Cardiff on the 30th November 2007 to test out our new songs in front of an audience. The set will comprise of 100% new material. The doors open at 8pm and we will be supported by our good friends from Paris called Poney Express. It will cost £5 to get in and promises to be a good night. 22/05/2007 - 2ND ALBUM UPDATE - We have just completed the writing of the music for the second album. The songs are great so far and now we turn our attention to vocals. Then we record! 26/01/2007 - OTHER PROJECTS - While we're working hard on the new Vito album we've also been involved with a few other projects that we'd like to bring to your attention. is the solo project of our good friend Matt Davies (singer with Funeral
For A Friend). This stuff is a big departure from FFAF and is beautiful
and heart felt country rock. Matt asked us if we wanted to record
his lovely tunes and we had to say yes. The album is out on Atlantic
records on the 5th February 2007 and there are some shows coming soon,
but enough of our yacking, have a listen and learn. Yeehaw! Eugene Francis Jnr - This is truly fantastic stuff. We're currently rehearsing with Eugene for shows in March. We'll try to keep it up to date and hopefully include some photos as we go along. 11/01/2007 - HAPPY NEW YEAR - We'd like to wish all our Vito friends a happy new year and best wishes for 2007. We're in the middle of writing the next Vito album and things are going really well. We're going to start posting a blog to keep you up to date on how the second album is coming along, with the obligatory studio photos etc. Keep checking it!
